Our sendoff was uneventful.  We prayed that God would keep us safe and that bus would make the journey and then we drove off waving to our neighbor Vera.  Jen thought we should be more giddy.  I was just relieved that the craziness of the 48 hours before the trip were over.  It has been great not to be thinking of the normal things that cloud you mind.  All of the pictures that follow are from the first 2 days of our travels.  They are in no particular order.  So far we have stopped by Rickett's Glen, had lunch with Ninny (my grandma on my Pop's side), stayed with Rachel and Bruce Wilkins that night and got to see Brenda Knopp.  Rachel and Bruce have a dog name Sydney that is perhaps the most hyper dog I have ever seen in my life.   You can see Jen driving the bus and me reading while she is driving.  It's great to be able to get up and walk around and get food and stuff while the other person is driving.  I think that will make the traveling a lot more bearable.

Today we drove to my Grandparent's in Punxsutawney, PA and had a grilled chicken dinner and Strawberry Shortcake.  Umm, my favorite.  Grandpa helped us fix a few of the things on the bus that we haven't been able to fix.  Gramps is good at things like that.  We gave the bus it's first bath since it was painted.  We also got to spend time with Matt Mileski, one of my best friend's from college, and his girlfriend Jolene this evening.  They came over to my Grandparent's and then we went downtown and saw Punxsutawney, Phil and talked in the square until well past our bedtime.
