Cadence International

We picked up the VW at about 11:30, and everything seemed like it was just fine.  Bob had done a great job on it, and it was ready to go!  A little tune-up, new distributor cap, and some new cables, and we were on our way.  We left Colorado Springs and headed to Denver to our Mission Headquarters.

We made it to Denver at about 2, excited to see all of our friends and co-workers.  The first friendly faces we saw were of Carissa's and Mara.  Sharane hid behind her desk for a little bit until we found her.

We love Publication's or Pubs as they are called.  Kevin Yapp just finished our new video for us, Sharane worked on our new prayer card.  Carissa finished our new slick brochure explaining Cadence and our ministry.  And Mara is working on our new prayer letter.

Had a great talk with Danny Perez, left, Ron Dice, the money manager guru, and chatted with Sylvia and Dave.  Though Dave looks like he's getting trained by Sylvia, he's actually the big cheese, (aka General Director) of the mission.

As we were leaving en route to Manhattan, Kansas, we saw the most beautiful complete rainbow.  I was dazzled, only later to find out that Colorado has rainbows all the time.  I love rainbows because they remind me of the promise that God made to Noah, when He said, "I have set my rainbow in the clods, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.  Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind."  You know that warm, fuzzy feeling you get when you know someone is thinking of you?  I get that feeling when I see a rainbow...knowing that God is remembering His covenant to not only me, but to all the earth!
